The label VON SCHWANENFLÜGEL was born out of Eleonore’s love for natural materials and her passion for design, color, and print.
Eleonore is a trained fashion designer and now works as a textile and print designer in Berlin.
After decades in the high fashion industry and international success with her own fashion label, she now uses her experience and expertise to support companies in the field of collection development.
With her surface pattern design studio, she creates design concepts, collections, and prints for both the fashion and interior sectors.
In 2021, she founded her label VON SCHWANENFLÜGEL with the vision of creating high-quality, aesthetic, and timeless accessories that reflect her core values of sustainability and environmental consciousness.
Label
The scarves and foulards from VON SCHWANENFLÜGEL are made from natural, eco-friendly, and GOTS-certified materials such as wool, silk, and cotton.
To ensure our scarves are produced under fair working conditions, we work closely with experienced and reliable manufacturers in Italy whom we have known and trusted for decades. This way, we promote social responsibility throughout the entire supply chain.
VON SCHWANENFLÜGEL’s exclusive and sustainable accessories are made in Europe and sold online.
Sustainability & Responsibility
We strive to act responsibly towards our environment because it is very important to us to leave a livable world for our children.
We work independently of seasons and create products that are durable, timeless, and of high quality, rather than just following current trends.
Our goal is to make products that are loved for a long time!
We use only GOTS-certified natural materials such as wool, cotton, and silk, and collaborate with experienced manufacturers in Italy whom we have known and trusted for decades. We also work to minimize our ecological footprint by avoiding overproduction and producing only in small quantities.
GOTS
GOTS stands for "Global Organic Textile Standard" and is the world's leading textile processing standard and an internationally recognized certification for organic textiles. GOTS certification ensures that textiles contain at least 70% organic fibers and that strict environmental and social criteria are met throughout the entire supply chain. The Global Organic Textile Standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, trade, and distribution of textiles and ensures that they are produced in a sustainable and ethical manner. It is one of the most trusted standards in the textile industry and includes requirements regarding water use, chemicals, and fair labor practices.

At VON SCHWANENFLÜGEL, we prioritize sustainable and eco-friendly packaging solutions to meet our high environmental standards.
Our packaging is made from recycled or recyclable materials, and we avoid the use of plastic.
To minimize resource consumption, we ensure that our packaging is designed as efficiently as possible, using only the necessary amount of material to safely protect our products. Through these measures, we reduce our ecological footprint and contribute to lowering waste and environmental pollution.
